Amana 0131P00007SP Indoor Fan Motor
The 0131P00007 indoor (evaporator) fan motor is made by Amana and can be used with the following PTAC unit models:
- PTC153G
- PTH153E R410A
The evaporator fan motor moves hot air across the unit's evaporator coils. This process is responsible for producing cool air by removing the hot air. If your unit's compressor continues to run without the fan motor, the evaporation coils will freeze and cool air will subside. Before you replace the motor, you must thaw the evaporator coils first.
